On foot

The developer lists these PC controls for the beta.

Input On foot
WASD Move
Space Jump
Shift Run
C Crouch. Press C while running to slide
Alt Dive
E Use
Tab Backpack
M Paper map
F Flashlight
N Night vision
1 / 2 / 3 Weapon slots
Q Holster
Click Fire
Right-click Aim
R Reload
I Inspect
V First person
G Throwables, from the base loadout rule

E is contextual. Recorded prompts include Open on a toolbox, Shut on a door, Call Extraction at a post, and Type Extract in the EVAC. R is also TAKE ALL on a crash cart, so check the prompt before you assume it only reloads.

The paper map

M does not open a pause menu. Your character holds a paper map labeled HUSH MAP / AREA MAP. The mouse wheel zooms, holding the left mouse button moves the sheet, holding the right mouse button looks closer, and M puts it away.

The legend used in recorded runs marks red as BEST LOOT, yellow as BETTER LOOT, green as WAY OUT, and a red dot as you.

Behind the wheel

Several keys change jobs in a car.

Input In a car
F Enter or exit. On foot this is the flashlight
Shift Drift. On foot this is run
B Seat belt
G Wipers. On foot this is throwables
H Horn

Space is not a listed driving key. It is the confirm button in the hotwire ring: press it when the pointer reaches the green sector. A well-timed hit can be labeled GREAT.

Read the prompt on the vehicle. HOTWIRE starts the ring. BREAK IN with F has opened a vehicle that then showed FOUND KEYS. One blue pickup needed the ring and one yellow van used BREAK IN. Follow the prompt on that car rather than the paint color.

Jumping out of a vehicle that is still moving costs HP.

What the control list does not include

The official description says you can board up windows and build barricades. The gathered key list does not name the barricade bind, so this page does not guess it. Look at the prompt on the window in your own session.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What do I lose if a monster catches me?

You lose what you carried on that run, including backpack loot, guns in slots 1 and 2, and throwables on G. The safe pocket keeps one stack that is not a weapon. Loot already stored in your base stash stays there.

Is HUSH: They can hear. (BETA) the same game as HUSH Zombie Extraction?

No. They can hear. (BETA) is the open-world sound-hunting game by theInstigators on Roblox place 133927229860262. HUSH Zombie Extraction is a different experience by Blue Code Studios. Loadouts, maps, and codes do not carry between them.

Are there working promo codes?

No shared promo code is listed. Bunker codes are a different system: a note or item you find during a run, used on a keypad or sold after you extract. Do not type another player's sequence.

How do I leave with the haul?

Open the paper map with M, go to a green WAY OUT, press E to call extraction, board the EVAC, and type EXTRACT at the cargo terminal before the doors shut. One recorded call lasted about 72 seconds after the post lamp turned red.

How do the monsters find me?

They hunt by sound. A loudness meter sits at the bottom left of the HUD. In one recorded run, crouching indoors read 33 dB, walking outside read 52 dB, and driving read 81 dB. Gunshots are louder than those movement readings.
